Here are a few pictures from the Hershey Meet.
Sorry, I know little about them, but thought we might like some pictures.
-
Two more....
-
Geez Phillip, You're going to make the 67-8 crowd mad with only 9s to show?
Thanks for the coverage. Weather looked good.
Joking of course,lol.
-
My thoughts exactly Bentley...........
-
No 67 or 68 to be found....
-
Very nice pics indeed, but what an ugly lookin hockeystick stripe in the first pic!! :o
-
Wow, that red/white Z is mine, except no rally sport.
-
No 67 or 68 to be found....
My friend was there. A nicely done 67 RS, Butternut, black vinyl top, standard interior, A/C, auto, sold for 46K.

To be found... at the AACA Meet. There were several in the car corral for sale. I saw the 67 RS. It was sweet.
Sorry, no pics from the car corral... I was looking for parts that day.

The Hershey meet is one of the largest in the country, there could have been half a dozen 67 - 68 cars there and it would be easy to miss.
*If you are on a golf cart or bicycle you can cover more ground per day, but since guys are showing up at different times, with different items, you still may not see it all
-
I learn something ever day on here. There were camaros before the 69. Wow

I have tried to get a couple 68s but no luck. One I am still kicking myself but was too busy to look. Kurt even encouraged me.

Yes, in terms of the car corral, Camaros can be close to a mile apart at Hershey and Charlotte. Some sellers can have a different car each day in their space.
But 1st Gens are in four places on any AACA showfield: Class 27 production cars, Class 36 high performance, HPOF, and DPC.
Just for future reference, so you'll know where to look. ;D

I've heard there were a couple of 'practice years'.. :)
-
I'm still confused that you guys don't comment that first pic on top of this thread....you're usually very fast to notice the wrong stuff on the cars? ;)
That´s important so petrol heads out there doesn't take this hockey stick stripe as an example of originality! I've seen this coming on classic mahogany boats, that's another of mine interests.... ::)
...maybe its so obvious this time when you just compare the first two pics, huh? :P

No pic of the "L89" vert? Lots of incorrect stuff on that car, but displayed as being verified by COPO Connection. Any back story on that car?
I had 2 cars over in 36C & hung out there most of Saturday.

That's funny

Actually, I love them all.. there is something unique and special about each year.. but it's fun to jerk the chains of some of these fellas.. :)

So how were things over in MOPAR land on Saturday? Congrats on your awards!
-
Actually 67's are the only true "originals", Everything after that was a Copy. Sorry to burst the 68's and 69's bubble but truth is stranger than fiction.........
Just kiddin' don't want to offend anybody on here.

Lots of interest in the Mopars Phillip. The judging crews were great (as usual). Gotta love AACA. I really wanted to get the M code Dart its 1st Senior so that I can take it to Williamsport next year.

Williamsport will be a great site for a stand alone Grand National. So the 69 was the Dart M code. What was the 68?
-
Hemi GTX vert - one of 36 made in '68.
-

I agree. That jumped off the page as soon as I looked at the picture.

I want to go along! :) Should have gone up on Saturday! Saw the 67 RS Butternut Camaro and it was a nice car. Quite a few cars were sold and one of the nice things about Hershey involves automobiles from A to Z.
