Title: "Rotisserie Restoration"
Post by: jdv69z on November 30, 2006, 02:50:20 PM
I am constantly seeing the term "Rotisserie Restoration" cars for sale ads. What does this mean? Do they mount the car and rotate it like on a barbecue grill? Or does it really mean: This car is for sale by a dealer?

Yes, a "rotisserie restoration" normally means that the body shell was mounted in a rotating fixture during the restoration, which allows much better access to the underbody area.
