I rebuilt my wiper motor, took apart my washer system cleaned it and installed an original used good motor. I also changed the switch. I am still getting the washer motor engaged when I turn the wipers on. I am not pushing the button in to engage the washer they are just squirting. Apparently there is a 12 volt signal finding its way to the washer motor. Anyone have any idea where to start to troubleshoot this?
FYI, this is on the standard non RS car.
Thanks guys

Any chance a pos and neg wire were reversed?

Hawk, that is what I am thinking too. There has to be a 12 v signal going to that washer motor that is not supposed to be there. But that signal is switched on when I turn the wiper motor on. I tried a different switch with no luck, but when I tried that different switch it was with the old washer motor. So will try that again.
Thanks

Make sure the switch you are using has the #464 stamped on the back side. 1993464 is for non hidden wipers, and 1993465 is for hidden wipers. Made this mistake buying a switch off ebay.
