Title: 68 Original Paint/Decal D90
Post by: cook_dw on September 15, 2015, 01:35:37 PM
Does anyone have or can get pics of the stripe on an original D90 68.  Mainly interested in the stripe were the Camaro emblem is located..  This photo has promoted my question..  Im not at home currently so I can not look at the green car for comparison.  03A build date.  Thanks, Darrell

Is this a potential purchase?

Can you have your wife take a pic of yours and text it, or email you?

I know,no worries.

looks like a clean 68 in a cool color, and I know your love for the middle year, so thats where my thinking went.

The add says original paint and interior. I will take a closer look at the pics later. And will ask Troy to take a look. MS coded 350 block seems ok.

So the bronze car looks like there are mods made to the stripe for the emblem. Incorrect? or did it change mid year, or by supplier of the stripes?

If that's the case I'll be glad to store the red '68 in my garage - too few cubic inches for sure -

Darrell  -  Did you notice the upper and lower pinstripe on your car are different widths likewise regarding the negative space... the green.

I had and that is another reason I wanted to see more original 68s from LOS & NOR and see if it is consistent before I made any comments.  Regardless good eye..  Its funny the more you look at things on an original car the more you see in oddities..   :)

Side note.  Did you find those wheels today?   ;D
