This is the 2nd part, but has the most camaro racing and a good little interview with Mark, Craig, and Roger at the end.

"Women drivers!"
WOW! :) ;)

I like the Fisher Donahue Penske interview... 1 & 2 in class is great, however 3 & 4 overall is incredible in 12 hrs.
12 hours 1-2 in class and 3-4 overall behind 2 - 906 Porsches
I had not realized the T/A cars ran the 12 hour race... that's alot of seat time in a T/A car, the end of the first video has a pit stop and the Camaro KILLS the Titus Mustang in the pits... comes in later and leaves long before the Mustang, 68 was a dominant year and if I am not mistaken the Penske team gained on the field on every scheduled stop.

That particular 'woman driver'... was pretty dang hot... I wouldn't mind her slowing down in front of me.. :)

TransAm also ran the 24hr race at Daytona.. but as Mark Donahue (? I think) said in that video, the 12 hrs of Sebring might be tougher on the driver (and the cars) than the 24 hr race at Daytona. I suspect this is due to the full road course at Sebring versus the 'partial oval' they run at Daytona... I also have heard (forever) that the Sebring track is very rough.. touch on the cars and the drivers (you can see how rough it is in that little segment of video from the car at the end of the video)... Even in the 70's, the drivers complained.. and I don't know if it has been resurfaced yet. :)

Thank you for posting that video, James. That's got to be the best quality vintage T/A report I've seen! I wish the audio was better quality in older videos.

Absolutely agree, I recognized her right away: Liane Engeman
Very beautiful woman.

Great stuff ..... Really enjoyed hearing Chris Economakis voice again, undoubtedly the greatest race car interviewer of all time.

Hey Al - remember this one?
See "Sebring 1969 P1 - video dailymotion" also P2
It was a great adventure - we had never raced together before - 25th o/a and 3rd in class.
