In feb 2004 I bought a 1967 camaro disassembled with alot of believed to be original parts. The cowl tag reads as follows.
09B L101
67-12437 LOS 586
742-Z R-2
2LG 3SL
5Y The VIN tag says 124377L102007 The front pad on the motor block is L102007 VO829 MS Rear is 13 GM 3892657 The 4 spd transmission also has L 102007 stamped as well as other numbers. I am not sure if it is a m20 or M21? The cowl tag does not have 4P indicating SS 350. It has a 12 bolt rear end with multi leaf springs and I have not found any numbers on the axle hosing. I saw a note on CRG that states early 1967 norwood camaros may not have had the 4P I have the counsel with gauges and original tach too. Under the cowl panel on the body is also stamped L102007. Is this the 2007th camaro? I am the third owner as it sat for 18 years before I got it. Is this a eeal RS/SS?? Thanks all for your help.

"VO829 MS " Indicates 350/295hp with a 4 speed which would be an SS. All 1967 Camaros had mono-leaf springs so the multi-leafs are incorrect. Looks like a real RS/SS.
Nice car.

Matt,
Your car is a Los Angeles built car (Van Nuys), so I believe your car should have the 4P on it if it were an SS 350. The CRG report states that The 4P code was used from early production at Van Nuys, but was not added to the Norwood SS350 cars until sometime during October.
Now, just how "early" is something I don't know, so Kurt or Rich, or Daniel, etc... will have to comment.
Although the engine stamping is "correct" for a 67 SS 350/295 with a manual transmssion, and the date of August 29th lines up well to your cars build, I would ask that you post a picture of the stamp so the experts can examine it for originality.
The transmission would be a Muncie for an SS car, so is it a Muncie or a Saginaw? You might want to post a picture of the transmission stamping as well...

I will get some pictures and submit. Is this camaro in the CRG database?

No, the car is not in the db.
That's a very early SS, early enough that the tag looks right.
Axle code should be there. If you can't find it, check the casting date.
