Title: NC8 and U16
Post by: ko-lek-tor on August 10, 2015, 02:57:58 AM
I really do not know and I do not have either. A conversation prompted this question. Was NC8 (chambered exh.) still available when U16 (center fuel guage /tach) became available. I was under the impression the former was gone before the later was available. Not sure were I came up with that. I really am not sure, so CRG can clear this up. Thanks.

U16 is rare so we don't have much data. There are 2 04A VN builds; an 04C and an 04L at Norwood. Based on Chevy docs the last build date for NC8 was May 16.

Norwood was shut down part of the first week and all of the second week April '69. Van Nuys was shut down all of May. Norwood could have built cars with both from about April 14-May 16; Van Nuys probably most of April.

Great question!
