Apologies if this is clarified elsewhere on the site and I missed it.
When including a URL to another domain, is there a site policy or preference to post the full URL visibly (like www.camaros.org) rather than using the 'URL=' HTML coding (like THIS (http://www.camaros.org)) so that everyone can see the link address before clicking on it, and can be confident they're not being directed to a questionable or inappropriate site?
I suppose this is more likely to be an issue with new or first-time posters rather than regulars.....

No policy.
Discretion of poster. I'd rather see a hint of where the link is headed, like "ebay", instead of "this". But the browser should show the link at the bottom of the screen when you hover over the link.

Thanks for replying Kurt; I've posted links both ways before, and it only occurred to me today when using my wife's iPad - because there is no cursor to hover over the hyperlink and show you where you'll head if you click.....

I setup a system to keep the spammers off the board - it seems to work pretty well. So few bad links get posted.

Personally, I would like to see the whole link posted, but that's just me.
