Any members around the Santa Ana area or any cruise-ins that I can go to while I'm out there? Should fly out on the 22nd and possibly out there for a couple weeks for work just depends on a few variants..

Your about an hour north of a few of us here in the Temecula area, so l I found this one, but this may not be your cup of tea....... :o let me keep looking... ;D

Check the socalcarculture web site, most of the local SoCal events will be listed there. You should attend a Saturday morning Donut Derelicts cruise in Huntington beach, it starts before dawn and over by 8:00 am. 300 or so street cars and just a few miles from Santa Ana. Take a camera. There are plenty of events in the LA/OC area.

Don't know if you would have time to come up to Northern California when you do make it out here, but you would be welcome to stop by and take a look at my '69 Z. I'm about half way between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe.

No, I can't make it this year. I've gone in past years though as a spectator only, not taking my own car. Are you going this year?

You know this might be the year I make my return. Last time I went was in 98 when they had the influx of young punks and the riots. It was too bad, my friends and I had only been there once before. We were in our late teens but we loved the show so much in 97, we thought we would start making it every year, 98 changed that. I have heard things kinda changed after that, but now it sounds like things have gotten better. One of my CRG buddies Jack goes there and posted some pics from last year of like 6 first gens parked together. If I was to go it would be as a spectator as well.
*Hey FYI Darrell if your trip gets bumped to late August, stop in RENO for one of the best and largest runs of cars you will ever see....HOT AUGUST NIGHTS!

In not to far from Santa Ana in LA. Let me know when u are out here I'll take u to bobs big boy cruise night in Burbank. Jay Leno and Tim Allen tend to show up often since it's almost across from the studios.
