Title: '68 Fuel Pump Original?

Wondering if this is the original AC Delco fuel pump for my car. Numbers on it as follows: 037R40726  Is there a date in there somewhere? Also has a 1 by itself, and a baby heart stamp? I have seen that baby heart stamp on other parts related to fuel and brake. Always wondered what that was... Danny

Well that sucks. Was hoping it was the original. Thanx for the info.. I will have to see another time what my numbers should be and see if I can find one. .. D
