Went by my friends tow yard today and grabbed a few goodies off a couple firebirds. Evaporust here we come. D

Original ribbed washer fluid hose. I needed some and this is a little more workable than mine.

Good find. What neck of woods is your buddies place? (east bay?)

No, in Sonoma.. Remember I am in Sonoma about 2 miles from city hall. His yard is about a mile the other direction. Going back to get a set of Trico Wiper arms and holders. Both are peaked and have "Made in USA" on each end. So they are '68. Don't know why I didn't think of it before spending all that dough to get my set. I will clean these all up and polish them out, and pick the best 2 out of the bunch. Also going to get an original Radiator overflow hose and bracket that attaches to the radiator as mine is aftermarket. And 2 T-3 Headlights, also a couple YH rally wheels. Tried to find a couple things for other members, like a "S rivet" oil fill cap, and a couple other things. No Wittek tower clamps, or some other little goodies I need. But fun to look... D
P.S.
Anybody need any little stuff like you see in the picture, email me and I will look around for ya. There is 2 '67 firebirds, one 6 cylinder and one V8, engines gone. And a couple Pontiac's.

The guy has YH wheels? that is some magical yard!

Evaporust here we come.
You know what works as good or better is molasses syrup cut 10:1 with water. Get 10x the amount/gal. as a gallon of molasses from a tractor and feed store runs about $10 compared to $20 for Evapo-rust.

Thanx, I may try the molasses trick. I am really learning the ins and outs of the evaporust. I will have some results info on that in a while.
Here is my latest goody score from my buddies tow yard. Have one more YH rally to get, as it is on an old truck. Set of peaked wiper arms and blade holders. '68 correct "Made in USA" on both sides. Ribbed overflow hose and mounting bracket. I THINK the little bracket is incorrect for Camaro. I could be wrong, but it doesn't match mine. I got it off a '68 lemans.

Then some Whittek clamps and Corbin heater hose clamps, and brake booster hose clamps. I have one that broke in half, and lastly a couple door stop rubber... D
