Title: 69 camaro dash pad peeling

Hi my pad is starting to peal back form the front can I glue it, has anyone done this and what glue and info can they share thanks in advance thanks CRG

If it is the original pad the plastic liner is probably warped and the vinyl has shrunk. I used Weldwood; it works for a while but will lift again shortly.

I used super glue gell. I used the small black spring paper clips to hold it. You will need about 20 to move along as you glue. You have to use them along side each other as you go. It is nice to have 2 people to do it.  Getting it out and is the hardest part. If you can borrow one to see where the studs are it is nice because if the car it intact some nuts you have to find them but you cannot see them.

Thanks William,Kelley the dash pad is already out I like the idea of clips to hold it Any idea how many glue jells I might need thanks again

About 5 trs ago I took my dash to a guy in town.He trimed about 1/4 inch off of the shell & then pulled the shrunken padding back around the shell. He then glued the padding back on,seemed to work pretty well.

I heard a guy trim is off also. makes up for what shrinks.
