I believe I sent a message once or even twice with no reply. I didn't buy anything and I can't remember what it was now.

Well I'm about to find out, I just bought an NOS OEM accelerator cable from him. He has a lot of nice parts on ebay and an excellent feedback but I sent him an email this morning and he hasn't replied. Normally that would put me off but it is the only OEM cable that I have been able to find.

Mike does the seller have a phone number in the ebay listing? If not, you should be able to get their contact details including phone number from ebay, especially as you now have an order with them. IMHO, there's no excuse to ignore questions from potential buyers, looking after the customer is business rule #1 (well, if you want to stay in business anyway) but some ebayers seem to be good at dumbing down their computer skills...... never a problem listing items for sale, but won't respond to Q's.
All the same, a good feedback rating should give you confidence, benefit of the doubt and all that. If you pay through PP or with credit card, you should be able to get a refund if it does turn out to be problematic.

You wont have any problem with joparts delivering. They are lax communicators.

I've bought several crossram items from him in the past - no problems whatsoever.

I still haven't received a reply to my email but the cable shipped the day following the auction end.

In a separate thread I asked for advice on an accelerator cable for my 68 Camaro with 327 engine. The 68 originally had a steel lever mechanism on the V8 engine and a cable on the L6 engine.  My car was originally an L6 and so it has a cable which is a little long for the V8. In searching around the net I found that a 1970 - 1972 V8 Nova cable will fit well and that is what I ordered from joparts. 'll post back here when it arrives on how it fits my car.

I received the cable and it's the same as the old one that it is replacing. There was a time when I had a Nova 350cid engine in the car and it is possible that my old cable was a Nova cable from that engine. Joparts delivered fast and the part was just as he described it so I have to say that all is well.
