I checked on a project 69 camaro and the rear is a 12 bolt PC 0929 G. CRG has it as a 10 bolt 2:56 posi.
In Chevrolet by the Numbers it list it as a 12 bolt 2:56 posi. Anyone else come across this?

The only reference to the PC code in CBTN that I can see is on page 309. It's for a 1967 camaro 4 speed 350 3.31:1 no mention of 12 or 10 bolt.
-
Perhaps Kurt can help with this one. There are some anomalies in rear ends. I see in 67 and 68 PC"s were 3:31 non posi 12 bolts And for 69 it was a 2:56 posi 10 bolt.

Ok my bad on page 314 of CBTN it shows PC as a 2:56 posi no reference to 10 or 12 bolt. But what is in the
car is a 12 bolt with a casting date of H 16 8 and stamp of PC 0929 G.

12 bolts in the rear cover, or on the ring gear?.. D

PC is a 12 bolt in 67.
10 bolt in 69, with multileaf springs.
-
Ok after going back and looking at other pics this must be a 67 12 bolt. It has mono leaf perches (67) with
4 leaf springs (69). The casting code must be H 16 6 instead of an 8.

Post some pics if you can.
