Hey Welcome to the CRG!

Sounds like you have 2 nice cars. We encourage to post pictures of each car you have, and motor shots if possible.

Regarding how many RS convertibles were made. I think we can narrow down how many convertibles, and how many 69 Camaro RS cars there was in general. I am not sure GM kept that good of records to say specifically how many convertibles had the RS option.

So there were 243,085 1969 Camaro produced
37,773 1969 Camaros had the RS option, (which is about 15%)
17,573 1969 Camaro convertibles produced

So 15% of 17,573 Convertibles works out to about 2,730 1969 Camaro convertibles with the RS option.

About.
I'd say there were more RS convertibles than that just because if you were spending money on a ragtop, you were after looks...

Yes I would agree that more options were used on the convertibles, than say a base car. So you could bump it up a bit most likely.

Thanks a mil will keep that in mind. With only 2% being burgundy would say there were less than 75-100

IMO the thing to keep in mind as far how rare it is now, is how original it has been maintained. The untouched originality is highly sought after and valued these days. I look forward to seeing your pics.. :)

Calculating the combination of two options is a guess. The combination of three features has a lot more error.

Look at how many colors there were. Even the most popular color was about 10%.

thanks the CRG ask a question page tells me paint code (67) Burgundy was 2%, I have added a pic to my profile is there somewhere I'm missing where I can add more pics?  the originality is unremarkable all original except muffler and master cylinder for the brakes the build sheet from the dealer matches the bumper sticker on the rear bumper the protector plate is still attached to the warranty card.

I generated those color % numbers. They are here: http://www.camaros.org/exterior.shtml#ColorPercentages

Sounds like a nice car. Did I see the car recently for sale? It looks familar.

well to the best of my knowledge it is a non SS badged 350 car with a muncie 3 or 4 speed. It was kinda the poor mans SS from what I understand. I have only seen coupes listed as LM1 cars thus far. I am sure somebody will chime in here and correct or add to what I have said.
