Title: 69 cowl induction solenoid test

Hi how can I test a NOS GM solenoid and is there anyway to find out if is assembly-line correct it is about 30 years old

figured it out tested fine any ideas on Assembly line correct ?

Brought two wires from the battery pos neg to solenoid pos on lead terminal and neg on housing easier than I thought  :)

Looks good. Use it.  Same as ones used on C3 Corvettes.

The assembly-line correct solenoid has with the part number metal stamped on the housing, the service replacement solenoid has the part number ink stamped on it, other that what they appear the same.
