"This is Clarence Everett’s one year old Camaro. He ran H / G. He was a legend in Oregon. Clarence bought the one year old SS 396 as a recovered theft, installed the Full Race Flathead. Clarence raced Bonneville and the drags for about 40 years, with all types of cars, Mostly Flathead powered."

It was a long time ago.. " Flat Head Forever" generation. He was out having fun with it...

Any more on the car or the old salt flat racer (birthplace of Hot Rodding don't forget ,cut him some slack) Anyone can buy one from a dealer I think they used to say.

Younger guy in Cali building Flatheads still, torch was passed from a legend.

That thing was probably about to take flight at top speed at the very least dancing around the salt like a figure skater at the Winter Olympics..  Like it or not its still cooler than snowman poop.

The same can be said for all of the small block Chevys in Ford cars. That said, before the hate mail arrives, I have to agree its a neat conversion. Guys, its called 'Hot-Rodding'. I like people that think outside the box...
