Hey Alex welcome to the CRG. Very nice car. Looks like the motor was possibly freshened up at some point, and a new intake and carb installed. You were lucky to come across such a nice car that has been well cared for. Looks like it has the original dealer emblem on the rear panel as well. Where was it sold originally?
-
Yes the engine got a intake and carb. I have the original intake and 2barrel carb and the original air cleaner. Those are going back on. I believe the car came from Missouri or Mississippi , found in a barn. I have the find on a video recording. The car was up on jack stands and had fell to one side up against a barn post and put a dent in the right front fender.

neat story. If the video is on the net post a link for us. Also how many miles are on the car? When was it built?
-
350 or 327 or 307?
Whose dealer emblem?
Great color. And no spoiler. :)

350 or 327 or 307?
Fender emblem says 350. ;)

Welcome Alex, Like color and great find. Any more to the story and info... how long was it stored away on the stands and had you known about it for a while or just stumbled across it ? Interior pics and vid would be cool to see. ;D
-
Welcome Alex, nice car. Looks like it could be 350, would be nice to see the engine stamp pad. Assuming it's an automatic car? Console or column shifted? Looks like Black interior. We like pictures, keep us posted.

That's a real jewel. Nice score, Alex. Thanks for posting the pics.
-
So it must be a later car.
L65 - 350/250hp.

There is more to the story. I will pick the car up today and get more pics up.

Reeeeal Nice, Alex! I am a fan of O. Gold...and with Dlxe. Black interior, Blk. top, no spoilers and RS, IMO, a Righteous Ride, for sure!
-
Pretty car ! From what I see ,lines and gaps are on the money :) Plus I'm a fan of the color.
-
Thanks for the replies. I am going to put the original intake back on with the original carb. I will take some more pictures of the interior etc. It is a L65 with a TH350 serial numbers on the bell housing of both the engine and transmission very cool. Has the original rear end. Where can I buy original oem parts, I need a few odds and ends.
-
OEM parts can be found at various places. Swap meets, Team Camaro has a classified area, Craigslist, even here, just throw out there what your looking for and someone may have it laying around. Heck.. even Dannystarr just went to a swap meet in Cali a week or so ago, and he was kind enough to tells guys to PM (personal message) him their needs and he'd keep his eyes opened. Just an fyi..research your part and ask questions if you have to. There are many repro's out there (nothing wrong with repro's) but if your looking for an original just be careful cause guys will tell you that it's RARE, ORIGINAL and 1of 1 ;D

Welcome aboard and great find!
Have fun documenting the car and take your time knowing what you need, what is correct, and a fair price. Time researching is on your side. :)
Many members can assist with specific part info as it arises and the search key can supply a lot of info as well.
