Good work, thanks Bryon.
Incidentally, have you got any firm data points on when the long style SB 692 water pump body's date code changed position to the opposite side of the hub from the casting number, and gained a shift clock? I believe it was for the 1970 model year but only from observing these pumps on cars or listed for sale.

Great info on the water pump. My 67 has a 350 that was produced in KC in 1972. It has this cheezy aftermarket serpentine set up which mounts the alternator on the passenger side like the 69 long pump configuration. I plan to replace the aftermarket, but want to go to the long pump configuration so I don't have to move the alternator wires etc. Is there any problem with using the newer long pump configuration on my 67?
