Title: Interesting Craigslist Finds
Post by: Mark on December 17, 2014, 02:22:24 AM
Thought I would start a thread where we can post interesting items relating to 67 to 69 Camaros, that we are not going to try and buy ourselves.  Lets limit to 67-69 Camaros and parts for them.  Don't list stuff you are trying to sell yourself, just things that you have found surfing the web.

I'll start it off with a 69 Rolling Body in Pittsfield MA for $5500.  Looks like it was a basic 327/TH350 car, looks like 124379N545473, and an 11C build was Daytona Yellow, with a black standard interior.

I love the idea, and have done a similar idea with a very original silver 69 Z on eBay, that one of our members ended up purchasing.

The car you posted looks like a good deal as well. Good find

Great minds think alike! 8)

Here's a funny one...  http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/4808445196.html

Current seller keeps getting flagged and removed because of this "warning" listing.

Caution: Some language may be inappropriate for children.  :-X

I can't blame someone for trying to make $$$ by flipping a car, especially if he/she bought it at a low market price. If anything, I would have been really pissed at the original seller for breaking a deal and switching buyers.

Only a 69 owner would invest $150,000 into his car and then only ask $80,000 in return.....

He is just trying to spread the love around.

or

for slightly less $

With how many Camaros out there are already tubbed I am surprised guys still feel the need to do it to there own cars.

I've always considered the 'money invested' in a race car as irrelevant.. as those $$ probably bought 3 engines, 4 transmission, and 5 rear ends..   not to mention all the other parts broken in it's racing history.. :)

And L30/M20 convertible for $3000? That's worth it in parts....

1968 RS Camaro convertible requiring full restoration or use as parts car. I have original paperwork.
No original engine. Car is complete-nothing taken apart. I have owned this car since 1983 and it not been driven or started for over 20 years.
4speed, tic-toc tach, 12 bolt 3.73 rear, deluxe interior, real 68' RS, hide away headlights, protecto plate, owner's manuals, dealer invoice.

That's what I thought Kurt. If it is a legit ad I thought maybe someone up in that area might want to go check it out.

No projects for me right now. I am still working on getting some of those old cars. That '69 has approx. 26 words in the description. If that was my car it would be at least 1000!  ;D  ... Danny

Set of 3 14 by 6 rally wheels with 4 caps and trim rings Worcester MA.  $125.  Ad text says they are K1811XG, but picture of one shows  YF 7J26 so probably a mixed bag.
