Title: A sad goodbye
Post by: sbmiano on December 04, 2014, 04:27:23 PM
I want to thank everyone on this forum for all of the help they have given me over the past 3 years with the completion of my 1969 Z 28.  This morning the car was a casualty for a new home.

I have informed the gentlemen that bought it he should join this great site!

Thank you, again, and Happy Holidays to all!

Maybe you will find another car in the not too distant future.

Best wishes...

I remember watching the tail lights go around the corner when I sold my Z28 to finish school. Not a good feeling. Be thankful it went to a roof over your head. Good luck.

Final pic of the car?

You made the right choice, and they 20,302 of them, so not impossible to find another one.

(http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-signs032.gif)  Bummer, but I hope you enjoy the new digs as much as the Camaro. Please stay active on CRG! The more input the better.

X2 and I'm sure down the road of time if you wish another will come to rest in your garage. Heck we sold our 69 Nova we ordered/purchased in 1983 and purchased back in 2013 so crazy things can happen..... Happy Holidays!

We all here understand it hard to say "goodbye" to your first love.  But just remember, you'll always have those memories of this car "forever".  It hard to let go of a ride after years of hard work and sweat.  Been there done that too.  Someday you'll find another, that you'll have to have, and the process will begin again.  Happy Holidays!    Don

sorry you had to make that choice.   i know it hurts.  i sold a mint 65 ford pickup and harley davidson super glide just to get some cash.  it makes me sick every time i think of them.  i will starve before i sell my Z28.  hope you find a replacement.
