Has anyone done any research on first gen. Camaro front end part numbers? I'm trying to piece together the front end of my
67 Z-28 but cannot find the original part numbers to the ball joints and tie rods. I have come up with 4 or 5 different numbers
depending who I talk to. I would be great to have a parts list for the complete front ends.

The only number in the 67 assembly manual is 9740569 for the upper ball joint with a 7800908 option for an upper ball joint.
There is not a number for the lower ball joint as well as the tie rods and idler arm. The lower control arm was an assembly as well as the relay & tie rod assembly. The individual part numbers are not given in the assembly manual. I am looking for the original assembly line part numbers for the upper and lower ball joints, tie rods and tie rod sleeves, and idler arm.

That's more helpful.

http://www.gmpartswiki.com/getpage?pageid=76142 lists the parts.

We had boxes of NOS service suspension parts for our '67 Z/28 project of many years ago and none of the ball joints or tie rods looked same as production. Two different worlds, different suppliers.
