Just out of curiosity, is anyone going to Hershey this week? Anyone showing? Judging?
-
Yes, yes, no. Class 17A. Will you be staying the whole week THIS time? I'll be helping at the race car certification on Friday.
-
Yes, yes, and yes again. Spots C54-C56 in car corral. Showing in class 36C, and judging class 36B (first choice).

Actually, only Thursday evening (HNR dinner and the auction) through Saturday. But unless it is a washout again on Friday, I'll be shopping for parts on Friday. (Got two new restorations going.) I'll try to get by the race car certification on Friday. I'll wear my yellow hat...

The 36 classes are always great to judge at Hershey. Congrats! I'll be a couple of rows over as captain in 25E. So far, Saturday has a good forecast.

Phil, I will be wearing a pink AACA sweat shirt and hat all week, shouldn't be hard to find. It's a challenge from a friend and there's a sizable donation going to the AACA library for it so don't get any funny ideas. Also make sure you guys go to the AACA museum. This is the 100th ann. of Dodge so there's a special display of Dodges and Dodge Brothers cars and trucks in the museum, 15 DBs, which are from 1914-38 all belong to friends , and about 6 later Dodges.
-
If the NFL can wear pink, why not? Thanks for the tip about the DBs at the museum. We'll get by there. Always have to check on the 1907 IH that we sponsor. It belonged to a long-time friend before it was donated to the museum. He was a charter member of our region.
Looks like bergy gets to enjoy half a dozen First Gens on Saturday. That AACA class is growing.
-
Doug, saw your DB. Great car.
The Dodges at the museum were great. Good display. Good job!

Thank you for the compliment. This week lasts forever and is over in a flash. Did not get to hook up, sorry. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many cars on the show field, I honestly thought with the rain It might be slim. Phil, I hope you can post pics of the yellow '68 Camaro, it was excellent.

Too bad that it rained on Saturday, but I've seen a LOT worse weather at Hershey! Wednesday through Friday were great. I got to meet a few of you CRG guys at my car corral spots (thanks for stopping). Finally wound up judging Mustangs on Saturday - gotta love AACA.
-
All in all, I think the Hershey region did a great job in spite of the rain. I personally thanked the chief judge and meet chair.
That 68 was fantastic, but I didn't get any pics. When I went by the Camaros, it was pouring down rain.

Hopefully the owner will read this and post a few. It looked fantastic when it was dry, yellow, vinyl roof 396 350 hp.

Does it *always* rain/storm in Pennsylvania on Saturday? :) TOO many years at Carlisle, we've seen big rains and big winds on Saturday.. :)
