Could someone with an original 68 A/C system (before 01C build date) post a pic or describe the condenser barb fittings. On my car both fittings are coming off at a 90 degrees which appear to be more like the 67 condensers I see for sale at Heartbeat. See link below for pictures. I was wondering if they could have still been using these style condensers at the time of my build.

Well I got lucky and just picked up a 68 Condenser with the correct 90 degree fitting by calling an ad that was 6 months old, you just never know.
New question is can I bench test the condenser with a hand held vacuum tester before installing it or should I send it out to a shop. I guess cnce installed and I borrow a vacuum pump to evacuate the system it would not be to hard to pull and replace if it leaks, but makes more sense I guess to test now if possible
Looks like I will soon have a 67 restored condenser by Classic Auto Air to put on ebay.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
Mike
