Title: Deltronic Transistor-Controlled Magnetic Pulse amp. plate 3916730
Post by: big iron on September 11, 2014, 11:29:30 PM
Anyone know the difference between OTC amp. plate 3916730 and the plate 3954206 used with the ZL1's? I am talking about the plate that was mounded on the vertical grill support in front of the radiator.

KurtS,
Thanks for the reply and yes I have looked at the CRG report but did not answer my question.
I have since found an TI installation sheet #3916731 (11-4-66) that shows the early plate 3916730 but does not have part numbers. The early plate is a parallelogram, that is, a lopsided rectangle.
Jim Stubing (Heartbeat City) makes a repo of the 2nd design plate #3954206 that is rectangular in shape and is verified  on page 2 of COPO 3560 TI install sheets #3961574 with part #3954206.
I believe the positioning of the plates on the COPO sheets are drawn incorrectly.
Thanks to Bill Glowacki for copies of the installation sheets. ;D
