I only have two rear lap belts in my car . My car was a late 1969 build (September) Is it possible that GM switched to two rear lap belts for the 1970 model and thats why I only have two rear lap belts ?

Your car was built with three - are you sure the center belt isn't stuffed down below the cushion?

It had three originally.

Just checked , my rear lap belts tags both read Robbins 3910 40k7. I think they have been changed.
