Title: Wanted 1969 Camaro Rosewood Dash portion with rear defroster hole
Post by: zipppo on September 04, 2014, 12:20:27 PM
I am adding a rear defroster to my 1969 Camaro.

I need the Rosewood dash piece (metal) that attached to the carrier that typically has the headlight switch and wiper switch holes. I am looking for the one with the extra hole for the rear defroster.

Thanks in advance.

Try posting on Team Camaro, they have a wanted/classified section.

Wouldnt one from a convertible work or is that a different location?

Not a common or cheap part. Last one I saw on ebay went for $100.

I think I have one...email me and I will send a pic to see if it will work.  It's actually a regular one, but someone installed a switch in the defroster area, and if you enlargen the  hole properly for a defroster, it should work.
