When did the 67 Z28 production run start?
-
I believe the first 15? or so Z's are listed in Jerry M's Book

Jan 67.
-
Hmm, I thought Jon Mello has a Z that was produced very early?
-
I thought it was Jan. also. A member contacted about the set of DF wheels I have and stated his 67Z is a November.
-
Whatever build date that is on Jon Mello's # 1 car would be the start. Whatever that may be...
-
I think Jon has stated December 29th of 66 as his production date.
-
Mello's car is the first.... Aero Chevrolet Virginia and raced from the start.

67 Z-28 production started December 29, 1966.

Jon,
What is the earliest known assembly date for a 1967 Z28 engine?
-
When I bought my 67 RS/SS, the orig owner stated he should have waited a few weeks and got a Z/28, my car is 12D production.

-
There are '67 Zs from both plants built on the last day of production.
-
Which was ?
-
7-19-67 for Norwood
7-13-67 for Van Nuys (LOS)
-
Is that NOR car before or after the one I sent you data on? It would have been built the last day of production.
