Title: 69 coupe window outer weatherstrip/fuzzies
Post by: ko-lek-tor on August 23, 2014, 12:40:10 AM
Took these off of parts car recently. I know they are no good. I thought I would post pic as I have not seen one with writing on the back side. Pic is for the records(help document) and to see if I can confirm it is original. This was off the 1/4 and says, "A BAILEY PRODUCT". Oh yea, Jan. 69 Norwood car. Ed? Could use your wisdom now!

Bailey was the original production supplier for door and 1/4-window fuzzies - in the plant they were called "Baileys". The other supplier was USM (United Shoe Machinery, Inc.).

The blunt rolled end on the stainless is the tell tale giveaway of an OEM piece, none of the after markets produced has this detail correct.

I don't think the aftermarket for this part has *anything* correct....   :(
