Here's an interesting auction. Looks like a Tonawanda block with DZ on the end.

Id be running from this 1. Stamp is V0610DZ and its a "618" block with a C-12-9 cast date?
BTW there are 2 pictures in the auction that are 396/427, the 1 that says Hi-Perf Pass and the last one which is a casting date by the pan rail off a big block.

Sorry, I do not see a "V" in the stamp. but a "T" as Gary points out. Very rare, must be out of one of the 40,000 made after the first 20,000,lol.

Yeah...looks like a T.

OOPS, I meant "T"

I sent him a note and told him it was a really bad re-stamp, since all DZ 302 engines were built at Flint (V), and none were built at Tonawanda (T). His response? "Yep."

Sounds like he already knows and or he doesn't care. Either way he is dishonest and therefore a crook in my book!
