Title: Door edge guards adell?

I had a friend give me a set of what he believed to be door edge guards off a camaro. He thought they were gm pieces. Stamped on them is Adell novi mi. Is this right?

Should have a pat number on it next to the Adell.  Should be say Adell Detroit Pat No 172.414
