Would like to meet some of the CRG & Team Camaro Brethren so who's coming to Frederick and/or Carlisle this coming week?
I know George is planning on being at Frederick with that great looking SS396 with air and a couple members including myself are to have cars in Carlisle's 1969 solid lifter display. I plan on being at Frederick Friday morning until the afternoon and then head north to Carlisle so hoping to see some great cars at both venues along with members.

I will be at SLSR with the Nor artifact...unveil is scheduled for 1:00 pm Sat.

Let me know when your coming to Carlisle Gary and will be looking for you and others on Friday AM..... The solid lifter display there should be pretty neat!

Chick & others looking forward to meeting some of you guys at the Nationals. Just finished loading the car and a couple nice parts a friend asked me to bring out.
Jerry M has first offer on the NOS Y55 battery but if he doesn't want it, it might be available. Nice original 69 bumper taken off car in 1969. And standard steering column from his 35K 69 Z. George

I probably won't make it down to Frederick until Saturday due to some other commitments on Friday. If time permits, I'll be swinging by Carlisle on the way back home in my hunt for the last of the ever elusive parts I need for my build.
One of these we'll get to meet face to face! :)

I was planning to be here in Frederick both Friday and Saturday with two cars. May only make it one day now...other things have come up. If I can only bring one car now, I'll have to decide which.

Chick, I will be there sometime around noon on Thursday, provided my travel plans work out as planned...I will ware my CRG shirt on Saturday like we did at CMS...

If whoever is going to be *showing* their cars at Carlisle, or having cars judged at Frederick, would give us some info.. what car.. color/yr/etc.. and location (X building?), then we could use those areas as meeting places to catch other CRG guys.. :)

I assume you are speaking of Frederick? We'll look for you Scoop.. :)

We'll be in Building 9 in Frederick. No CRG shirt, but look for the "special" New York State vanity plate on the Dusk Blue Z/28.

I will have my Ammon R. Smith/Strickler Jenkins shirt so you have no need to ask if its me. :) Our 69 L78 Nova will be on display at the 69 solid lifter display outside of gate 1 and there will be plenty there as they are adding a tent due to the number of cars on display. Eddie has his outstanding looking Z there and another member has a COPO 427 on display. A friend of mine has his real black L78 JL8 car on display as well. Hope to see everyone possible at Frederick Friday morning as it will be the only chance I have or anyone coming to Carlisle Friday afternoon, Saturday, or Sunday.

I'll be in Frederick with my 69 green Z. The 69 owner, the 74 owner, and the 76 owner are going to see their former car there.

Dan, I will be there but not probably until the afternoon as I plan on being in Frederick in the AM hours and then driving north to Carlisle. Should be there by 1 to 1:30!

Chick as always, nice to see you and Lonnie again...I'm sorry, I held him up Saturday morning while he was supposed to be helping you clean your car. The L78 Nova was just plain awesome. I know you got a lot of compliments on such an outstanding car.
My wife ask me on the way back home yesterday, just how long I have known you and Lonnie. I told her, we met at Maples Grove in 2010 and again in 2012 at Fredrick Md. and stayed in touch via email. She said, that you both were very nice and you guys acted as though I had known each other for a very long time.
Gary from the south. Very nice meeting you and thanks for taking time out of your day to talk Camaro's with me. It was great to finally put a face to a name and seeing some of the guys from CRG at Carlisle on Saturday.
Skip, even though you said that you do a lot of reading on CRG and don't post much, still nice to put a face to a name. As we discussed this w/e, I will say that I have now been to both Fredrick and Carlisle and I have to give the edge to Carlisle's Fair Grounds Complex, what a great place. Everything I heard it would be. They have there act together. I thought Charlotte was set up well, but Carlisle has a lot going on making it a great place to show and even sell a car if you can find a deal.
So many nice people at both places though.. One couple I spoke to late Saturday came down from Toronto just to look around. I'm not I would drive 8 hrs. one way just to look at cars, unless I was planning on buying one. I know my wife would not go or ride that far. Anyway nice meeting and talking to you guys !!!!
