The AIM shows that the automatic equipped L78's had two studs on the drivers side of the engine (part of assembly) for mounting the idle stop solenoid, were these (studs) on all auto BB or only holley equipped auto BB's?
-
I have never seen those studs on Holley equipped 4 speed cars or Quadrajet 4 speed cars. Interesting that it states existing manifold stud? George

What about quadrajet automatic cars? L35?

My car has AC so it has the brace bolted to that area.
Here is a picture I took of a very original L89, it shows a bolt. I don't think that fully answers your question though. George

Is your ac brace through bolted, meaning the bolts that go through the braces also retain the intake?
Or are there studs and the ac bracket is on the studs?
That may be the answer I need, as BB camaro engines were not coded differently if they were to be in a car equipped with A/C.

Mine are longer through bolts, just as noted in the AIM. George
