Title: NOR '68 TRim question ..." 7129" ?
Post by: KevinK on October 08, 2006, 02:36:21 PM
...I just came across a '68 coupe, with standard black interior with the cowl tag TR field as "7129"

...any idea what the "9" is for?

...not that these details matter, ...but for the curious...
(it's a '04C' build, NOR118614, ...327/210hp 'V0423 ME' block, ...where the stamped block VIN is '.....379' and the car's VIN is " ......378', ...which just seems like a factory 'goof').

Can I get a picture of the tag (and the pad if possible)?

Yes, I have seen the engine VIN off by a digit on rare occasions.

Thanks!
