Title: Chevrolet's New Z/28

I was watching the Palm Beach BJ auction today (not sure if this was a rerun or not) and saw where GM and Mr. Hendrick's auctioned off the first new production Z/28 # 001 (if I understood them correctly) and it went for $500K. How will this person ever get his money back out of this car.   ??? ??? ???

Eddie, that was a re-run! He has been bidding on vin #1 Corvettes and now the new Z/28 for several years as they go in his private collection plus the charity which I believe is the amount total minus the value of the automobile.

Thanks Chick.  Hedrick's did not bid on this one, he was offering along with GM. It was for  J. Gordon's charity "Drive to End Hunger"...
