Post by: janobyte on May 13, 2014, 01:29:56 AM
Suppose to have hooked the trailer up tonight to pick the car up tomorrow evening.

Flash floods and tornado warnings >:(

Should have re- built a @#$  low nautical miles ,numbers ARK instead!   crazy weather ,my luck a tornado will sweep the car away this summer. been waiting 25 years to do this car >:(

Too much rain makes corn rot in the ground! I farm, like Bill. Hope you stay safe. I, too, think about something happening to my car after all its been through and all I've been through, but if it does, so be it. HAving said that, I am sure the sun will come out, at least metaphorically, when it gets home. Good luck and stay safe. What do survivor ARKs go for these days?lol

Most of my corn is still in a bag. Started Saturday and rained out Sunday . Most of Saturdays rain stayed south of us but last night gave us 6 tents to 1.2 inches. Cold at the end of the week will slow it down. I have not seen any corn up in central ohio

Rain makes grain.... and grain makes whiskey. We've gotten around 2" of rain since Saturday. Plenty wet around here for a while. I am not looking forward to the temps coming in the next couple of days, but at least it isn't going to frost. There's quite a bit of corn and beans up around here.

Sunny here today, but the temperature is lower 60's.   We've had a lot of rains and some storms too.   We're ready for warm weather and no storms and
a lot of cruising in the camaro's

After a week of temps around 90, I see that it's gonna be a high of 70, with a low of 48 Friday night in time for the Good Guys in Nashville. Perfect weather unless we get one of the twirly things through here Wednesday (you guys in the Midwest need to stop sending those things this way !).

Regards and be safe -

She's home and safe on the lift. Downpour minutes after it was under roof :) Sweating bullets! Car has not seen rain at least since 76 ,bad omen to get rained on when the paints less than 48 hours old!

Bill......all our corn is up. Maybe 1/3 of our beans are. Got 180 acres of beans to go then we'll be done. Probably finish tomorrow if rain holds off tonight and tomorrow. This warm weather really made things pop.
