Title: Titus interview
Post by: KurtS on March 26, 2014, 05:10:26 AM
Not sure if this interview has been posted before. From the Sept 5 69 Van Nuys newspaper.

And this ad was in the Nov 21 edition. The junk they would have had....

Thanks for posting that, Kurt. It has not been posted here before. I never heard about that garage sale either. There had to be some very cool stuff available there.

The complaints about being way down on power in '69 don't ring very true to me. Titus' team was running 302 small block Chevys built by Al Bartz and Bartz built
engines for most of the front runners in Can-Am, Formula 5000 and elsewhere. When they switched to true Pontiac power for 1970, that's when he lost power and
had lots of engine failures.
