Would it be possible to put a red D90 on a silver with black interior car? Black Convertible top?
-
Anything is possible :) but that combo was not a factory version.
-
Yea I did not think so. Was just curious. I believe the red D90 stripe was only on a white, burgundy and I think a black car.
I will put back the original black stripe.
-
I got to tell ya,that red stripe with silver and black top and interior would look pretty sharp there, Lawrence.IMO. :D

Yea I agree that is why I was digging for a needle in a haystack. I have been looking on the site for a break down of the color combos of the stripes on the car colors.

"1969: Cortez Silver and Dover White coupes with Red interior and D90, DX1, or D96 stripe (not Z28) and without vinyl top received a Red stripe."
Footnote 2 from 69 Stripe Color Chart
I'd post the link, but I'm posting from my cell phone. Look under Numbers Decode.

Thanks guys. James Groome who is painting the Silver Convertible for me told me this. I guess I was just stabbing in the dark for something different. Like I said I will paint the stripe black.
I recall looking at a white RS/SS Dover White car with red deluxe interior, automatic, factory cowl hood car no spoiler. Nice car out of MI.
