Thanks for adding the block casting numbers, the correct eBay user I'd.

you can tell he is an engine man. Hydrolic lifters
-
Well maybe someone decided to go to a hydraulic roller. I put a 327 with a high lift hydraulic roller cam in mine and have been very happy thus far.

I put a hydrolic (sic) roller in miy Z in '75 - an Erson HiFlow IIH, car ran like the proverbial scalded dog (12.5:1's didn't hurt). I look back on it now and wonder why I did it, but it made sense at the time (I got tired of setting rockers all the time).

Well I recently just finished with the finishing touches on my C/10 set the rockers on mine and tightened down the allen's on it and hopefully I won't have to mess with them for a while now. Runs great with the 4 speed, but I have a bad vibration around 50mph, so I have to check the pinion angle and check the angle. it is deffinetly a mph issue, so maybe the clutch (which i need to adjust).

If your missing your LOS block here it is...if it's real ???

Last time (and only time) I had seen a yellow small block was in a '32 Roadster.

Well.. in 1957, Chevrolet actually painted some 265 ci small blocks yellow (actually chartreuse, which is a greenish yellow)...
-
Must of been in some deck out engine in which the car was the same yellow. Looks like a chrome water pump up front.

Yes, it's the same listing. IMO, the engine pad stamps are original. We'll need a lot more photos, other then the four photos in the listing, to determine if the internals are 302. The one lifter shown in photo one is hydraulic.
