I owned a 1967 Camaro SS Convertible for over 40 years but had to sell it a couple of years ago. I am currently going over a couple of boxes filled with Original and Repro parts to sell. I came across a distributor that was a back up to the one I had in the car. I never used it and just put it in the box and stored. It does not have a distributor cap and looks like the vacuum advance was replaced. Its never been cleaned or rebuilt to my knowledge. It has the number 1111480 8k 30 stamped where the Part Number should be. Also Patent Number 2769047 near the small condenser.
I need help with making sure this could be a 1969 Z28 car distributor. I also know I should take some photos of it but just want to see if I get a response. Also have some other parts for sale from the 67.

Hi Owen,
1111480 is the correct part number for a '69 Z28 distributor and 8K30 is a known assembly date. Now you now to find out if it is original or a fake/restamp. Post a photo, if it is original it is worth some $$$!

If this Distributor is still available I would be interested it for a reasonable price .

Those posts were over 2 yrs ago. I'd suggest emailing or PM'ing the poster if you are interested in his parts... :)
