Title: Cylinder head #3947041
Post by: jdv69z on September 15, 2006, 04:00:59 PM
Was cylinder head #3947041 used on 1969 Z/28'S? One for sale on ebay with this head. I thought  Z's used 386 head?

Also, why do original 39,000 mile cars need restoration?

Colvin's 'CBTN' shows 3927186 and 3947041 were both used on the 69 302. There is no listing of a 386 head at all.  :)

Oops! My bad; I meant 3927186. I'm confusing with block casting no.

I think you'd have a hard sell with 041 heads on a '69 Z/28.
