Title: Fold down seat divider panel
Post by: NoYenko on December 07, 2013, 09:37:59 PM
I am putting in my rear seat divider panel and noticed the back of the original panel has glue sprayed on it like there was jute glued to it previously. If anyone has an original seat divider panel with fold down seat could you look through the trunk and see if you can see jute padding on the back? The other question is the re-pro divider panel laid over the original is about an inch shorter. Also the original has a 1/2" additional material above the seat latch. Did I get one for a convertible, is there are difference? George

mine has no backing facing the trunk area--finished facing compartment area. With seat down (back of seat carpeted) the finish is nice ,and functional , suit cases fit perfect. Nice area for a cooler ,I mean we did hit car shows and actually used the option. I will post a pic tomorrow if you want. Out of the car right now and easy.

Ed & Janobyte, thanks for the quick reply. After reading those links Ed it looks like the original one I bought is for a convertible, the shorter repro one is for a coupe. That's what I need. Makes sense that they glued the convertible panel on. George
