Title: 68 OEM Tilt Steering Wheel Length

I have been told that most of the after market tilt columns are too long and puts the steering wheel about 2 inches or so closer to the driver.  Can anyone tell me what the original length of the OEM tilt steering column is for a 68 with a floor shift?
