Post by: MyRed67 on October 29, 2013, 07:57:44 AM
Had the Camaro out for a drive this afternoon.  Probably not too much more "Drive Time" this year anymore.

BULLITT;  The car goes in a Car Jacket in the winter.  The Garage isn't heated except if I happen to be out there working.  That's not all that often.

I gotcha, do you also put one of those (salt?)canisters inside the bag to trap the moisture?  Sounds like your car is in good hands

It's a desiccant. (http://www.carbag.com/support/omnidry-desiccant) Shouldn't use a car bag (or even a tarp) on an old car without it.

Yes, I use the Dessicant, and a good Car Cover under the Car Jacket.  Really does a great job.  I would recommend it to anyone in colder climates. Oh, and I also throw in a few "dryer sheets" for good measure.  I have been told mice hate the smell of them.
