How does one tell the difference between NOS an reproduction 69 camaro bumper guards? Terry

We had this discussion awhile back, Vince. Do a search and it should come up, but I've included it below. I posted a couple of photos of 'NOS' ones I bought from Chevrolet around 1976, and there was even some question whether these matched the production units.

Thanks Gary, I see where you mention to Donny ( DT) on May 30th 2012, about the "SP" stamped on your NOS guards. I guest my next step is to see if the repops have this or not. Terry

If you have the originals, and they aren't eat up with rust, you might consider getting them rechromed at a good chrome shop, and buy new 'rubbers' if you need to?

Well I don't have them any more I sold them with a car three years ago, and looking for a used set that need rechromed. I don't want repops and trying to tell the difference between the two. What I don't know is if the repops have the "SP" on them as well? Terry
