I am looking at pics of a parking light from a 71 Cutlass and they appear to look exactly like those from a 69 Camaro. The only difference seems to be the lenses have a larger brow, but the main assemby looks identical. Does anyone know if these are the same?

I doubt it - different car divisions hardly ever shared any appearance parts.

Only one that I have ever heard of parts being used (that were at least similar) was the 70-72 cargo light on the C-10 and the 69 RS backup light housing. Of course the pigtail was different..

Could it be a common housing with a different lens ?

They sure look similar, although as you say, the lens looks slightly different:

The Lens is not the same however it looks as though the housing is close, even the pigtail looks right... a Hollanders might list the interchange.

The bases are the exact same. The lenses look similar, but the Cutlass has a larger "brow", and would stick out. However, the bases will work.

Thanks for the confirmation.
