Title: Headliner Windlace Pinch Molding Trim
Post by: sdkar on September 30, 2013, 03:36:31 PM
Hey guys,

Anyone have any insight on the quality and looks of aftermarket pinch molding windlace trim for the headliners?  Is the aftermarket stuff the same, similar, or any good?  Should I look for original pieces or will this aftermarket offering do okay?

Thanks.

Yeah, I just got the OER brand from HBC. These go along the top of the door and quarter window opennings. They're black of course and I think its decent functional quality but I noticed it is smooth on the inner rounded edge as opposed to my original which has a "grain" molded in. I painted the new ones gold and found that the paint worked best with no adhesion promoter.
