Title: Under-hood insulation

Did all 1968 Camaros have under-hood insulation, regardless of engine or dealer destination? My 1968 Sport Coupe has the L6 engine and was bought originally in Florida. When I bought it in 1988 it didn't have any hood insulation. I'm wondering if the factory didn't install the insulation or if the previous owner had it removed. Thanks for any information. Joe.

 No, It was not standard, I beleive it came with the custom interior option and with the Super Sport option.
