Title: 1969 RS and Cowl induction hole
Post by: DyRally-Z1986 on September 17, 2013, 11:26:27 AM
Does someone know the size of the RS vacuum hole and the size of the cowl induction hole that are located in the fire wall? I was comparing pictures last night of two of my Dad's cars and it doesn't appear that the holes are consistent in their location (close, but not precise).

Those holes (location and size) are shown in the Assembly Manual in section Z22 (RS vacuum hole) and in section ZL2 (cowl induction harness hole).

Here is a location hole. I think I got this off this site from JohnZ. Do a search and you should find more pictures showing bare firewalls.... Danny

Okay, I ordered the assesmbly manual today. I'm pretty good on the location, I was trying to figure out the diameter of each hole.

The '69 AIM calls up hole for Z22 Rally Sport as 1.00" diameter (UPC 0, sheet A9), and cowl induction wiring hole as 0.75" diameter (UPC ZL2, sheet A5).
