Can someone tell me if a built sheet for this year was every found and where I might look?
It is a NOR built 68 L78 Camaro
Thank you

I have not heard of any being found. If there were to be found I would look under all seats between the springs or even under the carpet.
Off topic sort of but went to a local pull-a-part & they had a 68 barracuda & under the back seat was the build sheet.. So you never know.

Don't bother looking in the seats - they were installed by Fisher Body, long before the Broadcast Sheet was even printed.

Some broadcast sheets have been found taped to the top of the gas tank, but only on LOS Camaros.

The only thing I have ever found under a rear seat was old mail from previous owners, some lose change and in the case of my LOS car, an ARCO gas receipt from the early '70's for 13 gallons of fuel for $5.
I did find the UOIT and electrical inspection card by accident in the LOS car when removing the rug because it got wet. Nothing in the NOR car though.

Did Fisher or Norwood Assembly install the carpet and the steering column??
-
Gary I think the front carpet and columns were Chevrolet installed. Rear carpet was Fisher.

I found my UOIT sheet under the carpet, mine was 68 Norwood car.

The reason I asked that question, when I removed the original carpet in my car a few years ago, I found an original ignition key (right under the steering column) with the code knockout intact.. it seemed to be 'fresh' and never used.. after thinking about it a second, wondering how it got there and then had the thought.. HEY. the ignition is right above where I found it! I tried the key in the ignition and EUREKA!! *G*. it fit. and I assumed it fell out between the installation of the steering wheel/ignition, and the carpet install, and no one saw it (or cared?) *L*
when I replaced the original carpet in a '57 BelAir sedan I have had a long time, under the rear carpet I found a 'paint can sock'.. with drips of 'Harbor blue'.. (the color of the car).. Apparently the painter tossed the sock in after painting the car, and what did they do? "Carpeted right over it".. *L*

A recent post on TeamCamaro reported that a Norwood broadcast sheet was found on a '68 behind the hood insulation. Kurt has already responded to that thread. I hope that further information will be forthcoming.

Hood insulation is a common location on other cars, but it's the first I've heard of for a Camaro.
